The stone sculpture is a material that has been used since the beginning of artistic expression and it is still present in contemporary sculpture. The course includes teaching basic techniques for sculpture in stone: direct carving tools and use warm air hammer with tungsten tools, diamond cutting discs, and manual and machine polishing.

Includes knowledge about the characteristics of various types of stone, natural formations, quarrying, stone modern technology with industry visits, videos, books and digital consultations.
